All the neighbours have been consistently amazed at how cold and miserable the weather has been since January. The news just announced today that the twelfth atmospheric river is expected in California. Turns out that other than the wind, we've found it perfect for hiking and the few days it has been in the 80's, we've been reminded that we don't actually like too much heat.
Today, the rain came as predicted and this afternoon we ventured out to see the impact of all that run-off on the ravines built into golf courses. We had seen bull dozers working yesterday to clear culverts in preparation.
