Museum day

We started off slower Thursday having the morning to relax. We started the afternoon in the relatively new Palm Springs Architecture and Design Museum. It's main display is the history of wood-frame construction with miniature models that include a house you could order from the Sears Catalogue. We then wandered the main street of Palm Springs waiting for the 5 o'clock opening of the free Thursday evening at the Art Museum. What a great way to encourage people to explore modern art.
